The first step in preparing your images for outsourcing is to cull through the catalog, choosing the images that you would like edited by SBP.

REFERENCE IMAGES

We use reference images to ensure your catalog is being edited to match your style. We ask that our clients include reference images in every catalog.

CATALOG UPLOAD

Once you have prepared your catalog, it's time to upload. We will provide you with a Dropbox link and walk you through the upload process.

DO YOU EDIT TO MATCH MY STYLE?

Yes! We have proven processes in place that allow us to match your editing just how you do it. Our clients love it! We often hear, “this looks just like my editing, or I can’t believe how well it matches!” We believe in matching to your individual unique editing style and not our take on what that style is.

WHAT IF I DON’T KNOW MY EDITING STYLE?

Knowing your style and what you like and don’t like is a crucial step in helping your editor know and understand how to edit for you. We require that all of our clients understand proper lighting as well as their editing style.  

HOW DO I SEND YOU MY IMAGES TO BE EDITED?

We utilize Smart Previews through Lightroom and Dropbox for all of our file transfers. We will even walk you through this for your first couple of times to make sure you feel comfortable with it all.

DO I WORK WITH THE SAME EDITOR EACH TIME?

Yes! Currently Sarah is the main and sole editor but we really believe in the 1-on-1 relationship with your editor. Having the same editor is key in consistency and matching your edits how you want them each and every time. We LOVE our clients and truly become very close with each of them! We are here to not only edit and save you valuable time, but we are also here cheering you on and celebrating your successes right along with you!

CAN I GIVE FEEDBACK TO MY EDITOR?

Absolutely! In fact, we encourage it and ask for feedback each and every time we send a finished catalog. This is what will enable us to match your editing the way you want it done. You may not always have feedback, and that’s great, but we always want you to know that we value you and your feedback!

HOW DO I MAKE OUTSOURCING MY EDITING WORK FINANCIALLY?

The easiest way would be to add the cost into your pricing structure. You would be surprised at how small of an increase it is and most clients that inquire will not even notice the small increase.  I’m talking about a 3-5% increase. That’s it. Really! Another way to do this, is if you are wanting to outsource your already booked weddings and you didn’t account for the editing costs when you booked them, you can always book another wedding. Yep you heard me right…one more wedding will usually cover the cost of an editor. (depending on where you are priced) AND if you think about it further… you won’t be needing to edit that wedding either. Sounds amazing right!

Once we are official officially, you will have your own personal Dropbox upload folder, follow the upload video, upload your catalog, and focus on your business or create more memories with your family, while we at SBP work our magic.

DOWNLOAD + ENJOY

You can expect to receive your finished catalog back into your own personal Dropbox folder  guaranteed within 3-8 business days following upload. Once delivered back into your Dropbox folder, follow our export video. The hard work is over now. Sit back and wait for your clients to rave about their photos.
